La La Lashes

I wanted to take some time today in this post to talk about eyelashes. False eyelashes, that is. I wanted to answer some questions about lashes that I get, give you some tips, and link some of my favorite lashes that I use on my clients.

One of the most popular questions I get is "if I wear fake eyelashes can my lashes still look natural" and the answer is yes, but it depends on what lashes you use. False eyelashes have really become a trend in the past years where before in the 90's, false lashes were something people only wore on Halloween :P

Nowadays, false eyelashes have become more popular and more wearable for the everyday woman who still wants to look natural but have a little extra glam.

Now, as far as permanent lashes go, I do not offer those as a service, but I have several businesses in Bozeman I can recommend who do an amazing job.

I offer my brides temporary false lashes the day of the wedding which are usually no more than one day wear. These eyelashes are attached with a mild glue to keep them in place and they will wash off easily with eye makeup remover at the end of the day.

I offer both strip and individual eyelashes in my kit. The lashes I use are based on what the client desires, wether it be a more natural look or something bolder.

The lash glue I like to use is linked below. I like the black glue because although the white dries clear, sometimes it can still be seen . . . be careful when trying new eyelash glue if you have sensitive eyes

I use a variety of different eyelashes for my clients, including the Ardell individuals and strips . . .

The Ardell wisps (linked below) are probably one of my favorite bridal strip eyelash. They give enough emphasis on the eye without being too intense for someone who doesn't wear false eyelashes on a daily basis.

If you decide to use fake lashes on your wedding day, be sure to curl your own lashes first so they blend with the false lashes. If your eyelashes are shorter, make sure you don't choose lashes that are extremely long; they may not blend and look natural.

If you are applying your own false lashes, take your time! if you don't apply lashes very often, make sure you set aside some extra time to put on your lashes and don't feel rushed; it may take a couple times to get the process right. Heres a video to help you learn the step by step process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yE3-ulyGlBw

Hope this little guide on lashes helped! let me know if you have any other questions!!
