Welcome back! It's been a while since's I've made an appearance on here but I just wanted to say Hey and show you this AMAZING photoshoot from a few weeks ago. It was inspired by this gorgeous lacy dress at Eskay Bridal and Mallory at 40 Watt photo and I knew we had to put something together.
We wanted to keep the shoot smaller and focus on a woodland elopement with more melancholy, moody tones. I wanted to do a more undone, messy bohemian hairstyle on Taylor and keep her eyes simple with a darker grunge look. The florals ended up matching our bow tie perfectly and we are so happy with the result! Take a look around at the pics and I hope you love them as much as we did!
P.S. I also want to share some of my favorite dry shampoos with you because in my life, dry shampoo is a MUST. I live for this product because I wash my hair every 5 days or so. Sound disgusting? It can be without the proper products to help keep my hair looking healthy and smelling great :) Follow along and find out about my top favorites - oh, and they all smell amazing!!
The first product is the Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo. This stuf smells like heaven. Seriously, all of they products smell great and this dry shampoo goes on super easy and isn't too white looking. It is buildable too so you can keep using it over a number of days.
My next favorite is the Not Your Mother's Dry Shampoo. This one is great because I feel like I get a lot of good texture and volume from this one in addition to oil control. And this one is drugstore so it's pretty affordable.
This next one is the IGK Jet Lag Invisible Dry Shampoo. IGK is a newer brand to me and so far I have been loving all of their products, This dry shampoo is super weightless which is kind of a trend in their product line, so your hair doesn't feel caked with product or grimey after a lot of use. It also smells delicious!!
This final product I have been seeing in every drugstrore and I had to try it. The Batiste Dry Shampoo has such fun packaging and it comes in SO many scents! You can find this in Target or Walmart, it is super affordable, and it keeps your hair looking and smelling great for days.
I hope this was a helpful post! Seriously dry shampoo is my most used product and definitely something I can't live without. These four products are my top favorites right now and I have been rotating through each of them after I run out! I am thinking about doing a post on my texture sprays because I am really getting into those right now and there are so many goods ones I have been finding!! Let me know if this would be something you want to read. See you later!!
